About Us
I really enjoyed looking at them and interacting with them. But wasn't quite ready to take on any more animals. But my husband decided that he had other ideals. At the time I had no idea what he was up to. We was ready to finish our visit with Peggy and the alpacas and my husband steps in and says "We will take that one and that one." My mouth dropped wide open, and with Peggy standing there, what could I say but OK? Well, our first animals were Firenza and Earlene, both pregnant and due any time. I feel in love with these girls. We ended up getting 4 more pregnant females and starting our alpaca farm. To this day I would have it no other way. I love raising alpacas.

Alpacas at Dairy Creek—The History of Our Alpaca Farm

My husband Dan saw a TV commercial about alpacas and wanted to go see an alpaca farm. I told him that might be fun, but we were just looking. So I told him to find a farm and we could do this on the weekend. We started at an alpaca farm named" Alpacas at Tucker Creek," owned by Dave and Peggy Stevens. Peggy met with us and proceeded to "talk alpaca" with us.
